Dollywood Announces Park Reopening | Latest Info

Announced Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020: Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country have officially announced their reopening date for Wednesday, June 17th. Exclusive Opening days for season passholders will be Monday June 15th & Tuesday June 16th. Dolly Parton gave hopeful words in an interview saying, “When the times right and we’re all confident that you and our team at the park and the resort are safe, we’ll be together again in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.” Parton assured all visitors, “brighter days are ahead.”

Those brighter days that Dolly promised are close! Guests will be able to enjoy the award-winning rides and roller coasters as well as their favorite treats offered throughout the park. New Safety Measures 

  • Limited daily capacity.
  • Guests ages 3 and up are required to wear face masks or face coverings with the exception of selected roller coasters, water attractions, and eating.
  • Guest temperature screenings will be taken before entering the park.
  • Social distancing reminders and markers will be placed throughout the park.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available. Additional sanitation measures will be implemented especially in high touch point areas.
  • Indoor areas that cannot maintain adequate social distancing will remain closed.

2020 Season Pass Extension

Dollywood announced it would extend the usage of 2020 season passes until June 15th, 2021. This will allow those pass holders to enjoy the months and festivals that were cancelled due to the park closing. The new June 15th, 2021 extension will also apply to the FREE Pre-K Imagination Season Pass. All passes will be automatically updated for this extension. Dollywood is making preparations for guests to be able to redeem their Summer Bring- A- Friend FREE pass as well.

Upcoming Festivals

Guests will still be able to enjoy annual festivals held Dollywood including Summer Celebration, Harvest Festival and Smoky Mountain Christmas! The family theme park transforms each season to give guests a completely new experience each visit. Thousands of lights and decorations paired with seasonal food and shopping opportunities make for a special time throughout the park.

 

Harvest Festival 

Dollywood’s Harvest Festival will be held September 25- October 31, 2020. No better way to celebrate the Fall season than by heading to the Great Smoky Mountains! Dollywood will be decorated for the season and will also have crafters throughout the park to display their work of handmade crafts. During this time guests can also experience The Great Pumpkin LumiNights where the park with be filled with thousands of carved pumpkins to enjoy after dark! The Southern Gospel Jubilee will fill the park with music and provide free concerts!

Smoky Mountain Christmas 

As one of the most magical times of year, Dollywood celebrates Christmas in extraordinary ways with the Parade of Many Colors each night, christmas shows, and special seasonal treats. Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas will be held November 7- January 2, 2021.
