The addition will include family friendly pools, slides, and more for the property! This new expansion will be the first of it’s kind in the Sevierville area. According to Joe Eck, COO of Wilderness Resort and Waterparks, “We are excited to be bringing another quality attraction to the popular Smoky Mountain tourist region. Soaky Mountain Waterpark is going to be an amazing destination for families with children of all ages to enjoy. It will feature some of the most popular, thrilling and unique water attractions available. It will all be outdoors in a beautiful mountain-modern park setting.”

The waterpark will feature a 35,000 square foot wave pool capable of generating waves up to 6 feet high! Also, a winding wave river spanning an area of 24,000 square feet with an exciting kids’ play-and-spray with multiple slides will be featured! Kids can enjoy an activity pool with small slides and also an adventure pool with a water obstacle course. Test your skills on the double FlowRider like a surfer! Experience a four slide complex that will provide thrills all day long! There are so many new options that the kids will love.

Other Rides to Enjoy

  • One-of-a-kind water coaster
  • Family ride tower with two five-person raft rides
  • Tubing tower with five flumes
  • Two high-intensity body slides
