Pigeon Forge Library

The library offers free Wi-Fi and computer access for both residents and visitors to our area. We offer free technology training by appointment on computers, tablets, and other devices. Materials available for check out include print and audio books, eBooks, movies, and music. Magazines and newspapers are available for reading inside the library. We also offer copying, faxing, and scanning services. We have extensive local materials in the Smoky Mountain Collection, which includes oral histories from Sevier County residents. Historical and genealogy materials are on hand, including census, death records, and subscriptions to online databases. A genealogist is available to help guests research their family tree. Children’s programs are offered throughout the year including preschool story times on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. PFPL participates in the Inter-Library Loan program with other Tennessee libraries. If you are looking for a book that the library does not have or cannot purchase, it may be borrowed from another library in Tennessee if it is available. A small conference room is available at no charge for non-profit groups during regular library hours. This room is available on a first come, first served basis. The library offers the online boater’s exam required by TWRA as well as free practice tests for the Tennessee driver’s exam. The Testing Education and Reference Center is also available, which contains learning centers for elementary through college levels, software tutorials and computer training, job search and workplace skills, and practice tests for college entrance exams, GED, civil service, and many others.
