Great Smoky Mountain Dance Theater

The Great Smoky Mountain Dance Theater was established in November of 2004 as a non-profit organization. Since the beginning we have based our performances with adults and children from surrounding counties. They help to perform this timeless magical Christmas journey of the Nutcracker. All adults and children that try out will have a roll in the Nutcracker performance regardless of their dance experience. As of 2016, we have had over 175 children and adult volunteers to take the stage to bring this ballet to life. We believe that every child deserves a chance to dance.
