Fall Festivals To Visit in The Smoky Mountains in 2019

Not only are we dreaming of fall and crisp air, but also the annual fall festivals! The Great Smoky Mountains are full of excitement and community friendly festivals that are perfect for all visitors and locals to enjoy. You’re sure to find live music, southern foods, pumpkins, and locally made crafts at each event! We’ve put a list together of all the best fall festivals for you to check out this 2019 season.

The Old Mill 16th Annual Heritage Day- September 28th, 2019

The 16th Annual Old Mill Heritage Day is a tradition here in Pigeon Forge. A day full of music, food, fun, and games await you on this day of celebration. Help celebrate the fall season at this festival with crafts, demonstrations, storytelling, and traditions of mountain pioneers! Paint some pumpkins, learn quilting, and even moonshine making! Admission is FREE and you can come enjoy all the activities from 10 am – 6 pm. 

Watch crafters make lye soap, apple butter, and more cast iron cooking as they live like actual pioneers! In addition to all the activities, you can enjoy live bluegrass, cloggers, and folk singers! The kids will love the on-site petting zoo, arts & crafts, and fire truck!

Dollywood’s Harvest Festival- September 27th- November 2nd Lighted Great Pumpkin Dollywood pigeon forge

The annual Dollywood Harvest Festival is the perfect time to visit and enjoy the fall decorations, local artisans, and of course the rides and shows offered in the park! In addition to the craftsmen and artists that are at Dollywood all year, they also bring in artists from all over the country! Crafts and handmade items such as: candles, glass, leather, wood, jewelry, and so much more.

The Great Pumpkin LumiNights returns to transform Timber Canyon into a family friendly Halloween spectacular! With thousands of carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns guiding your way, you’ll laugh, take photos, and make memories! be Sure to also enjoy the annual Southern Gospel Jubilee. All of these free concerts are included in your admission ticket into the park!

 

Pigeon Forge Rotary Club Craft Fair- September 28th- October 26th

Celebrate the Fall season at one of the most popular events in Patriot Park! Beginning September 28th through October 26th, shop local crafts at the Rotary Club Crafts Festival. Whether you want to find the perfect gift, home decor, or an early start to Christmas shopping, this is a can’t miss event! Not only is this a good event, but it does good for the community! Admission into he festival is completely free, however they ask for a charitable donation instead.

Robert A. Tino’s Smoky Mountain Homecoming- October 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2019

With October on it’s way, we’re excited to get ready for the annual Robert A. Tino’s Smoky Mountain Homecoming! Come out to the artist’s home where the fields will be covered in local crafters and artists. Discover the gallery of Robert A. Tino and his 30 years of Smoky Mountain art work! Enjoy bluegrass music, family friendly activities, delicious food and more. Kids can even visit the pick and paint pumpkin patch! 

Also, be sure to look into the artist’s own gallery to take a piece home with you! Enjoy free admission and parking on Friday, and on Saturday & Sunday admission is $5 and parking will be free. A portion of all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated the Robert A. Tino Art scholarship at Sevier County High School.

Wears Valley Fall Fest- October 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2019

Spend the weekend surrounded by pumpkins, crafts, and food! This event highlights the mission of Keep Sevier Beautiful- to reduce waste, prevent litter and to create beautiful spaces out of public places. Support community based programs such as recycling, helping with community gardens, and education programs.

Artisans will be on site creating traditional and contemporary crafts at the festivals. The Fall Fest will be open 10 am- 6 pm Friday & Saturday. On Sunday, the Fest will be open from 10 am- 4 pm.
