The 3rd annual Great Smoky Mountain Hot Air Balloon Festival is here! Head to the Townsend Visitor Center on Saturday August 17th from 3pm- 9pm. Enjoy a beautiful sunset and hot air balloon glow during this family friendly event right in the Smokies! The event will have live entertainment from musicians and dancers, a beer tent, food trucks, wine tastings, and local craftsmen demonstrating their artwork. Balloons will begin to inflate right at dusk and display their glow for an hour. Tickets for this event are $20 per car or $25 on the day of the event. Bands & Entertainment will consist of Dr. Magical Balloons, Mo' Town Cloggers, Appalachian Surf Team. Kids can enjoy faceprinting, rock walls, water wars, balloon twisters, and a eurobungy!
