Dolly’s Stampede 12th Annual Whoadeo is back for another exciting day full of competitions, costumes, and carnivals! Come out for a day full of festive fall decorations, food, and the coolest games in town! Food City and Coca- Cola present this FREE admission kids event on September 29th from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The event takes place in the parking lot of Dolly Parton’s Stampede as well as inside the arena!

Competitions

The Whoadeo begins in the parking lot of Dolly Parton’s Stampede at 8 am. The only requirement for children to compete in the Whoadeo is a stick horse which can be purchased or homemade. Inside the Stampede arena, kids will compete in “stick horse barrel races” and a “parade of stick horses.” First, second, and third place trophies and prizes will be given out in all three age brackets. The age brackets are divided into ages 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12. At the end there will also be a grand prize winner!

All Whoadeo participants (ages 3-12) receive a free Stampede admission ticket to the 3:30 pm dinner show the day of the 29th.

Carnival

Head out to the Stampede parking lot for a family friendly carnival from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Food City will be providing complimentary snacks and Coca Cola will provide drinks. This free outdoor carnival will be full of games, costumes, and mascots from your favorite area attractions!

Each Whoadeo participant also receives a Kid’s Club backpack provided by Food City! Inside, kids will find a one- day admission ticket to Dollywood while supplies last.

NEW ADDITION- Storytelling Stage

An exciting addition to this year’s Whoadeo is a celebrity storytelling stage that highlights Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, with guest storytellers including Knoxville TV personalities, Stampede emcee Jay Teter an Celebration emcee Kristen Michelle Wilson.
