Dolly Parton recently invited Today Show host Jenna Bush Hager for a tour of her theme park, Dollywood, which just finished a $37 million Wildwood Grove expansion!
Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood welcomes families for the ultimate thrill and adventure in the southeast. Over the past 33 years, Dollywood has grown into one of most visited amusement park in the nation. In her newest expansion, Dolly takes visitors into a time-warp back to her childhood days with friendly characters such as Flit and Flutter and so many more!
“What’s better than the laughter of kids?” Dolly asks. Wildwood Grove is full of laughter and adventure for children of all ages!

Treetop Tower- Get a sky- high view of Wildwood Grove while riding in hollowed acorns.
Great Tree Swing- Riders sit in a leaf boat which sways back and forth like a leaf falling to the ground.
Wildwood Creek- A splash area perfect for those hot summer days with streams and water pop jets!
Dragonflier- Suspended roller coaster that zips and turns through the meadow.
The Mad Mockingbird- Paying tribute to Tennessee’s State Bird, fly high like a mockingbird in a high speed circle.
Hidden Hollow- This indoor play zone is perfect the little kids to explore and stay cool.
The Wildwood Tree- Standing more than 50 feet tall, this tree is home to more than 640 butterflies and comes to life each night!
Frog and Fireflies- Jump around the lilypads in a circular motion on the backs of frogs.
Black Bear Trail- Graze around the meadow on the back of a black bear! A friendly one of course! Dolly always experienced black bears in her back yard!
