6 Performances to See at Dollywood’s Festival of Nations

Dollywood is the perfect way to spend the day riding thrilling rides, eating southern delicacies, and watching world class performers in their daily shows! One of the most unique aspects of Dollywood Theme Park is all the amazing seasonal festivals each year. The first is the Festival of Nations. A long time running festival that displays the most captivating entertainment from around the world. It’s an entire month- long celebration of music, dance, food and art. The festival of Nations will take place from March 14th through April 20th, 2020. Here’s what you can see:

 

NEW for 2020: Beyond Bollywood Presents Namaste India 

The Festival of Nations is excited for new acts and shows for the 2020 season! Watch as the talents, sights, and sounds of Bollywood culture hit the stage with over 400 costumes. This show will take place from March 14th through April 20th at Dolly Parton’s Celebrity Theater.

 

Atahualpa

This Festival of Nations veteran will be back again to entertain guests at the Showstreet Gazebo! Showcasing their musical talents using Ecuadorian instruments such as the pan flute and more, they love to welcome every guest with their music.

 

 

Drumstruck

All month long you can toe tap to Drumstruck at The Showstreet Palace Theater. This interactive experience showcases African style beats and performances with a high energy cast.

 

 

Invaders Steel Orchestra

The yearly favorite performers of Invaders Steel Orchestra will call the Valley Theater stage home during the festival of Nations. The group from Trinidad and Tobago can’t wait to excite the crowd with their hometown feels!

 

Jig Jam 

All the way for the midlands of Ireland comes a quartet that sure to get your toes tappin’! This blend of Irish sounds and American bluegrass introduces us to a whole new genre of music that will keep you coming back for more! You can find Jig Jam at the Back Porch Theater from March 18th through April  20th.

 

Ole! 

The “Gypsy Kings of Comedy” are ready to make their debut at the Dollywood Festival of Nations. With amusing comedy and musical talents, this trio entertains their audience with guitar competitions and tricks. You can watch Ole! perform at the Pines Theater from March14th through April 20th.
