Wilderness Wildlife Week in Pigeon Forge is made up of exhibits, performances, workshops, classes, walks and talks that are entertaining, as well as informative. The programs that take place during Wilderness Wildlife Week celebrate the Great Smoky Mountains National park including the features of the park, wildlife within the park and cultures from the park. Wilderness Wildlife Week has been recognized by the International Festivals and Events Association for the environmental and educational efforts taking place during the event.Open to all ages, this event has music from Appalachia, children’s events, and more! Hiking presentations, workshops and other events will take place throughout the event.The programs will begin at 8 a.m. and run until 7:30 p.m.
